Savory Oven Roasted Onions
/So simple yet so yummy. Onions are a delicious way to get your vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre. Enjoy these as a side dish to any meal.
Ingredients
2 medium sweet or white onions
4 tsp butter, divided
4 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh or dried parsley, chopped, optional
S&P, to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 375◦F. Peel and remove ends of onions to create a flat surface. Cut in half width-wise and place middle side up on a parchment lined pan. Spread 1 tsp butter and sprinkle cheese/seasonings on each. Bake for 20 min until tender and browned on top.
