Soothing eucalyptus and lavender bath bomb
/Relax and unwind with these all-natural moisturizing bath bombs. Full of essential oils that are great for muscle relaxation, breathing, and overall mood, these fizzing DIY Bath Bombs will help you soak the stress of the day away. This technique doesn’t use a mold which keeps things really simple and results in a very pretty, handmade look. They’re wonderful to have on hand in case of sudden colds or flus, and their aromatic lavender and pretty pink colour—achieved with beetroot powder!—makes them lovely little gifts.

Directions:
Add clay, beet powder and baking soda to a large mixing bowl.
Mix together with your hands until there are no more lumps.
In a separate small bowl mix together the almond and essential oils.
Add oil to the dry mixture. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are combined.
Pour in the citric acid and mix well.
The mixture should be the consistency of wet sand and hold together when squeezed tightly in your hand. If it is too dry add a few sprays of witch hazel. If you add witch hazel mix in quickly so it doesn’t activate the citric acid.
Form into balls with your hands and place on a cooking sheet covered with parchment paper. Let sit for 12 hrs. Pour a bath and enjoy!

2 Cups Baking Soda
1 Tbsp Kaolin Clay
4 Tbsp Sweet Almond oil
10 drops of eucalyptus and 10 drops of lavender essential oil
2 Tsp Beet powder ( for colour)
1 Cup, plus 3 Tablespoons Citric Acid
4-10 sprays of Witch Hazel (if needed)

Spray Bottle (if using Witch hazel)

Wax or Parchment Paper
