Have you met Mike Macdonald, our Grocery Supervisor?

Mike enjoys coming into work each day - he feels blessed to know each individual here at Pomme, “such an excellent group of people” he says. Mike believes the customers who shop here are great, knowledgeable and interested in healthy living through the lifestyle of eating well.
A few of Mike’s favourite things here at Pomme are the salad bar from the Deli, the new roasted root vegetables and the lentil loaf , which he calls lentil “love”, “ it makes for a great lunch!” He also loves the Hugo Naturals coconut soap in the Healthy Living department. He has also admitted to having a sweet tooth, with a favourite being the organic dark chocolate covered raisins from the bulk department!
A few things to know about Mike, he loves to travel in India “…to experience the spirituality and beautiful temples, ceremonies and pooja. Meeting and communicating with the locals in a raw, unforgiving but loving and truthful environment.” Mike also enjoys a good cup of tea in his favourite book/tea/coffee shop in Maple Ridge, where he likes to write, converse and meet new, interesting people.
