Dr. Rehanni has been working with animals all her life. She graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan in 1994. After graduation, Dr. Rehanni worked in an Emergency Veterinary Hospital and then opened her own Veterinary Hospital in 1997. However, after many years of practice, she was discouraged with the results obtained with conventional medicine in the treatment of chronic diseases. She found that many diseases required life-long treatment with medications and many of those medications had harmful side effects on the animal’s long-term health. Dr. Rehanni wondered if there was a way to treat the whole body, and support the body’s ability to heal itself. This is when she discovered Holistic medicine and she completed a program in Classical Homeopathic medicine from 2005-2010 at the Vancouver Homeopathic Academy. Dr. Rehanni is not only a Veterinarian but also a CCH Certified Classical Homeopath, she is one of the few Veterinarians in North America to have this designation. In her experience, homeopathic medicine can be an effective method of maintaining health, as well as treating disease. In her practice, Dr. Rehanni uses homeopathic remedies, herbs, as well as cold laser therapy. Dr. Rehanni has been practicing Holistic veterinary medicine since 2005 and has used this form of medicine extensively not only for her clients, but for her own human and animal family.
Dr. Rehanni’s consultation office, Vital Beings Veterinary Practice, is located in Port Coquitlam. She provides consultation to clients from all over British Columbia.
